Cards with a minimum $1k CL, and payment protector?

According to the myfico calcculators, Getting a new credit card under $1000 would hurt my score.

My consumption/util is 85% average, and I am looking for something to help offset this. This card would be for the sole purpose of decreasing my util, and purchases If I become unemployed. I would want the card to have a payment protector of some sort.

I have looked at BofA cards, but those are $500 minimum limit.

Any suggestions? I don't want another Chase card, and I am not intrested in Capital One.

you can do the bofa pre-qual and see if you are pre approved for a card and what limit they might give you.

just becuase it has a min. cl of 1k does not mean you will get approved, but with a 729 i would think you could find something.

I realize it doesn't mean I would be approved. Unfortunately, I opted out of prequals last year.

W00t! Just did BofA prequal and was approved for the MasterCard Platnum Plus! 4k limit and 0% for 12 month on BT's.
