Now that my idea of getting an Uber card to be my foreign travel card has been dashed to bits... I'm looking for other ideas.
What cards out there have no FTF and no AF? I'm looking for somethng that would just be on standby until I need it to earn decent rewards while travelling in places where Amex is not accepted. Good earnings on restaurants would be a plus.
So far I can think of...
Cap1 SavorOne - a real contender with easy-to-redeem 3% back on restaurants
Amex Hilton NAF - have it, but it's an Amex and I'm looking for something other
Amex Delta Blue - ditto
What else is out there?
wells fargo propel
cap1 s1/qs
pp mc
PPMC
BoA TR
Discover
Your BoA Travel card would work. No FTF and no AF.
All Cap One cards have no FTF (although some have a fee!)
In addition to those mentioned, Chase Amazon card has no FTF or AF. But unless you hate Paypal/Sync, there is no need do worse than a 2% everywhere card with the PPMC
Penfed is another example, the Plat Rewards cards earns an uncapped ~2.5% at foreign supermarkets.
All Capital One - All Discover (finding a place to use it can be problematic)
TD Cash Visa, if you're in their footprint, has no FTF or AF, and gives 3% restaurants and 2% grocery worldwide.
(Not the easiest card to get and not easy to get a CLI)
Wow... so many obvious ones I didn't really consider... thanks!
I need to look into that Chase Amazon. Been thinking about getting it anyway because of how much money I've given Jeff Bezos lately.
Discover is pretty much useless outside of the USA, isn't it?
And yeah, I have that BoA Travel Rewards... but it earns 1.5% and the rewards are a pain to redeem. I was looking for something that would earn better than the Quicksilver, which would almost surely come with me as well.
Oh yeah, also forgot to include the Quicksilver on the OP. Duh!
I keep hearing people talk about the WF Propel. How do redemptions work with that card? Is it all just 1cpp?

If you are already a member of Costco, the Costco Visa has no additional AF, and no FTF.
Yeah I looked at that one, but you have to be a member and I don't have a Costco near me.
