I have had my card for 3 months.
I called and talked to a live person just now and she said that no CLI's are done before the first 6 months. She said the automated system does not pull a hard...ever. So that is nice. The automated system bases its decision on payment history alone. That's a change from other cards. I wonder if she knows what she is talking about.
She did give me a good option about an alternative way to get a CLI. She said I could have my provider call the provider number and tell them I needed X amount financed. She said it is likely that if a provider calls them, they will allow the CLI. I don't know why, but I'm going to try it when I see my dentist again in 2 weeks to put in my gold crown they had to have made.
