Care Credit? Not So Much :-)

Morning all,

Well curiosity got the better of me so I started

to look at some of my Synchrony cards.

Found another casualty.Looked at the site that

has my Synchrony Home and Care Credit cards on them.

Well The Care Credit Card went ghost :-)

I believe that one had about 20K of available credit.

Last used about a year ago for glasses for my

daughter..about $400.00 I believe.

Gonna give the Data Points so everyone can be informed.

TU is 750ish

1% total credit usage among all my cards.

Lots of new credit..and hp's

No change in my spending patterns.

These all appear to be non usage issues.

Left the 25K Home Card....allthough I have never used it :-)

The Home Card was a replacement from another home card

they cancelled about a year ago for non use,10K limit.

They then issued me this

one with 25K...so I'm not sure what to make

out of all this. Synchrony is a fine bank I am sure,

but apparently just not for me atm :-)

Just adding data points so everyone else can CYA :-)

Have a great day y'all

Cheers

Re: Care Credit? Not So Much :-)

@UH_HUH  Sorry to hear about Sync woes. I too lost $100k in tradelines right before this pandemic arrived and could tell it was a sign of things to come for not only me but others. My Care Credit & Lowe's where most likely for non-usage. PayPal & pay credit Amazon where continually in rotation . Ironically Sync offered me a Rakuten Card a week later. 😁😁 Don't sweat it my friend when this all passes, they will be back lining up for our business.

@UH_HUH, Sorry for another casualtySmiley Sad

Sync is on a hatchet job mission .. I guess Sync's new motto is "USE THEM OR LOSE THEM"

when I began to see all the AA, I had been putting a little spend on them,

now I am putting a little extra measure spend.

Thanks for the DP's!

Take care my friendSmiley Happy

That's what I don't like about store only cards if you don't use them all the time you run the chance of getting them closed for non use. I only try to get a store card that is VS / MC / AMEX so I can use them elsewhere. One thing that is nice about care credit is that you can use them at Walgreens and Walmart for $5 to keep them active.

Thanks for commenting on my post @credit_endurance

Yeah 100K will get your attention :-) Sorry to hear it.

I'm at 49.5K 10K Marvel 20K Care Credit 19.5K Wayfair.

I am in no way worried....Comenity and Sync are two banks that are

definitly feeling the pinch. Let them work on their exposure issues,

I will work on my tan ;-)

Cheers

Dang @UH_HUH , sorry my friend. Unfortunstely another casualty  in the   non usage war. With Sync probably having to make cuts, what better way than on cards not used. Thanks for sharing thoughSmiley Happy Stay safe!

Re: Care Credit? Not So Much :-)

That sucks @UH_HUH , but sounds like you're not phased by it so I don't feel too bad for you? LOL

Yeah they're on a rampage over there  but just goes to show you how quickly panic sets in over there. I holding on to my Marvel if they let me (it's only a $2k Card so I think I'm safe), but Sync has always been to twitchy for my taste.

Get that tan!
