i assume you're talking about me? At the time where i had a upper 500 score i had close to 90% utilization... paid it down to around 20% now...

Both times i tried the automated system and was transferred to a CSR who put it through for me.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum but I was wondering if I apply for Care Credit will they approve me? My EX score is 678 I have 24% overall utilization 3 years with credit experience, a lot of inq about 11 due to a car loan and 1 baddy a CA paid in full ,trying to get Premier Bank to removed. I seriously need to get lasik and was wondering anyone's experience with this card. Thanks Smiley Happy

Hey serenesoul827,

Are you a member of a CU (Credit Union)? If so, then see if they can help with your situation, they usually have cards with much lower interest reates but no rewards. They might even allow you to get a personal loan, I believe that most CU's have thier rate at or around 15% which is much less then CareCredits APR.

Good luck with what ever you do, just make sure you don't miss any payments.

Re: CareCredit Card Approval?

True.  But CareCredit gives you 18 months no interest on dental work.  Also got 12 months no interest on a surgery for one of my pets.  Haven't paid a dime of interest to them because I've paid both off well before the promo period was over.

Also, if you spend more than $1000 you can get a fixed 14.99% for 24,36, or 48 months, Over $2500 you can get 14.99% for 60. Not great rates, but better than a lot of unsecured loans and credit cards out there.
