Re: Chances for Amex?

How many inquiries have you had in the past year and what is your utilization currently? American Express charge cards are supposedly easier to obtain than their revolving accounts. Maybe try applying for the Green card?

1st Financial Bank USA Mastercard (2007) $1,900.00
Chase Sapphire Preferred (2008) $16,000
American Express Gold (April 2013) NPSL
Discover It (April 2013) $5,000

Re: Chances for Amex?

Also I know you have had a few new accounts in the last  2 months how many?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

If you have a thick file with history and no recent baddies I think going straight for the revolver is just fine.
