APPROVED!

Ok, so I have stayed away from Barclay because of all the negative things I have read on here about cld's and closures. The arrival card is very much tempting me. I've been moving more towards the travel cards and was just approved about 2 weeks ago for the Southwest Premier. I want to get in on this signup bonus but I want to make sure I have a chance of approval. I really want it to be the world mastercard. So what do ya'll think? My info in my sig is correct. My total utilization is 14%. It will lower by mid March. My oldest cc account is about 18 month's old. No installment account, no negatives. So what do y'all think? Will this bonus probably be around a while? Thanks for your time input.
Sorry for errors, I'm on my cell.
How is your TU inquiries? Was it pulled for your Southwest Premier? If your TU is clean of inquiries for the past 6mo I think you have a good chance depending on your income. What is your income?
@snowkitty wrote:
I think I have about 10 inquiries on my TU. Most are close to a year or more in age. EX was pulled for SW. Income alittle under 65k.
@Creditaddict.......do you think I will get at least a 5k to make it a wm?
based on your other lines, YES~

I'm never good at knowing if people will get approved but I can share my experience.
Here were my stats when I was appoved:
TU FICO Score 760
UTL ~7%
INQ 0
AA0A ~3.5 YRS, oldest CC was 18 months
New accounts 1 (reported) 2 (had not yet reported)
Approved for 5,000 with 18.99% APR after Promo.

I see that you said you oldest CC is 18 months old. How many cards did you apply for in the last 6 months? And how many INQs do you have for each CB?

OP said about 10 on TU... but only last 12 months count and really only last 6 months I think Barclay would care about... so any then?

Yea I saw that, I was trying to figure how many in a 6 month frame. I think that may be the determining factor in their approval. If it's under 3, I would say yes, otherwords, I would strongly say no as Barclays is really sensitive to INQs.
