Has anyone had any luck in getting the special pricing @ checkout for the Chase version? I have both versions (Synchrony and Chase) but only see deferred pricing available on the Synchrony version. I really want to use the Chase version to get the added benefits, such as extended warranty and price protection.

If I’m understanding correctly, I believe the OP mentioned that these changes will not take effect until May 25th.

There was a thread on this about a month ago, but I forget the title. Something along the line of Chase Amazon Visa gets better.
That's great news. I was debating on getting this card but I already have the store card. At least with the Visa, you have more options.
First world problems...

Once the Visa changes over to this the end of May I will have no use for the store card.

Freedom Unlimited for those with a transfer card, Barclays Uber. But that's just an example. Point is that if you have a lot of spend outside Amazon/WF, a 2% everywhere card is going to be better. Of course, nearly everyone here has multiple cards so you can have the best of both. But it's not a "hands down" winner for everyone
It's definitely not hands down. The other side of the coin is that 2% categories on Amazon or another card can still be helpful, even if you have a general 2% card. The Citi Double Cash oftentimes comes with a relatively low limit. If one is in a situation like that, dumping restaurant, gas, or drug store spending onto the Amazon card might be a useful option.
