I got my Chase CSP last week and I happened to apply for an AU for the 5k bonus at the time of sign up. I got two cards. Do I need to activate the AU separately? Also if my AU uses the card will it show up in my login itself or do I need to set up a new login for my AU? Will the UR points earned be in the main account or will be split based on the spend between me and my AU. Please help me out on these questions.

The AU card comes activated and does not have a separate account. Also know that you don't need to make a purchase on the AU card to earn the 5K bonus.
I think I have no use for the AU card since the 5k reward points are showing up in pending rewards. Wooo hooo... The points are racking up pretty quickly since majority of my spend are dining and travel. I love this card already. Can't wait to maximize it more using the Freedom combo. How long should I wait before applying for the Freedom?

I applied, and was approved, for both cards on the same day. I've read others have not been so fortunate. Sadly I can't give you a recommendation as to when to apply for Freedom, just offering this as one data point.

I don't think you'd need to. My mom's CSP has the exact same account number on it too.
