Chase Fraudulent Activity

Woke up today to find my CSP had been used at a store called Chowdaheadz. It appears to be a MA based store but it was an online purchase. The security specialist I spoke to looked at it and said that whoever entered my card data didn't have the right expiration sat or security code so she had no idea why it was approved (despite having been approved and not labeled as fraud). However, a few seconds later she said that I would not be liable for this charge and that she'd be expediting me a new card.

Ultimately I received top-notch customer service, but I'm not sure why an almost $100 charge in a transaction missing such crucial information got to this point...

Wow! I'm with you, how was that processed with all that missing info? I'd be a little upset too.

Re: Chase Fraudulent Activity

This happen to me too, my CSP card was used to purchase shoes online totalling $250.  The online retaile was based in FL  Good thing I have a text alert on purchases more than $50 and called the customer service asap.

Good to know the customer service was there, but a data point of note that it was allowed to happen.
