Made an ebay purchase with my chase card as a test.. used paypal with the card as the funding source.
Showing up as "shopping" on the app and on pc.. with merchant type as a department store.. not sure if that "works" or not.
What about using paypal for a personal transaction/goods and services? From earlier in the thread- "Please note, Friends and Family or Person-to-Person (P2P) transactions made with your Chase Freedom card on PayPal may be prohibited or not eligible for 5%"
This wouldn't be f&f.. what's classified as p2p? Sounds like cashapp/venmo, normally..
