Chase Freedom $50 on first purchase

I thought I had an offer for $50 cashback on my first purchase, and it's been about a week since my first statement cut.  Does anybody know how long I should wait to see this credited?  I hope it wasn't just for the Freedom Signature Visa.

I found this on the Chase website:

Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after your first purchase/first use of the card for bonus rebates to post to your account.
