So I signed on to my online banking this morning and saw that Chase gave me an auto 1000 CLI from a 2000 CL to a 3000 CL! No inqs...I'll take it!
Congrats

Great, congrats! It is nice to see a card growth with you when you exhibit patterns of responsible credit management.
When did you originally get the card? In other words, how long did it take to get to 3k CL?
And grats! ![]()
I've been stuck at $5,000 since opening the card in 2008. Use it every so many months, never carry a balance, still can't get an increase.
Hi Russian!
I originally got the card back in January of this year. I was approved for 2k but I had a lot of credit card debt at the time. Since then, I've paid down my CC debt significantly so I imagine my score is going up. Perhaps that's why I received a CLI. I will add that I currently have a balance on the card of $1200 that's been on there for awhile. I'm paying it off finally in two weeks! So that proves you don't need low UTIL on a card to get a CLI, but it is my main CC.
Thanks all for your kind words!
