For those of you with Chase freedom : Does it report credit limits to the bureaus ? Been researching online and cant seem to get a solid answer ? From what I see the "signature lines" dont but a "regular" does ? Any advice ?
Mine reports but I only have a 2k limit
There are a few other threads about this floating around. I think the general consensus (with a few exceptions) was that Chase SIGNATURE (usually has limits over $5k) does not report and all Chase Freedoms (usually below $5k) do report. However, there seems to be a gray area with Chase Freedoms who have CLs of $5k or more -- some report, some don't.
My CL is $3k and has been reporting fine.
I have a 5k non-signature Chase Freedom. I didn't want the signature since I wanted to have the limit to report.
This is exactly why myfico is , without question, the most frequented site for me.......YOU all are so open to sharing your knowledge and experience. Thanks for the affirmation. Continued success to all of you.
I have a 15k platinum version of the card that does report. I have been told tho that when its upgraded to a signature version (some time in January) that it will not longer report.

Same here, and it's reporting.
I have a $15k Freedom MC that they wanted to convert to a signature card in October. I called and declined the upgrade, and my card is still reporting like normal. The only time it shouldn't report with a CL is if it is converted a signature/world card.
I have the standard visa and it reports. Just got a Signature a couple of weeks back, not sure if that will report, doubt it.
$5k limit on mine and it reports.
May have to hit them up for a CLI soon to see if that would make a difference in reporting. For now, it sits in the SD... Interest is too high.
