Hi everyone, I have been creeping on the forums for a while now and recently decided to join. I applied for a Capital One Cash Rewards and Chase Freedom card and both were denied. Any thoughts?
I have a:
Capital One Platinum Card - $0/$750 - 1 year old
Jared Jewelers - $200/$1200 - almost 2 years old
GE Luxury Card - $1200/.$1500 (high utlization I know, my engagement ring is on there and fiance is paying it off)
Wells Fargo - N/A/$5,000 (was an authorized signer on my ex husbands card)
Jared Jewelers - $0/$9,000 - 4 years old (also authorized signer on ex husbands card)
1 paid Charge Off - Capital One that is 6 years old
1 unpaid Charge Off $495.00 - First Premier Bank that is 6 years old
When I applied to Capital One, I had a security freeze on Experian, will they deny me if they can't pull up all 3? I tried recon with Chase 4 times, and no luck.
Can anyone PM me some recon addresses for Chase/Capital One? I hate that I took hard inquiries. I don't know what my scores are. According to CreditKarma my TU is 604, Experian "Plus" is 692, and Equifax is "605".
help??
It sounds like you are basing your information off of FAKO scores. If you fake scores are that low, I would imagine your actual FICO scores are lower. In my experience, the FICO scores tend to run lower than the FAKOs. I would pay for your actual FICOs and see where you can go from there.
If I paid for my credit report/score on equifax/experian are those not my real scores?
When I spoke with the lady about a recon she said she didn't have my score and I would have to contact Equifax (who they pulled) to get the exact number. I am waiting for my letter, do you think it will be on there? I remember about two months ago, an apartment complex pulled TU and they sent a letter saying my score was 614.
As far as I know, the only place to purchase your actual FICO scores is here on myFICO. All the other scores are just garbage. Lenders only use the FICO scores. Experian does not sell their FICO scores anymore so you can't get that one at all.

Equifax Scorewatch is a real Fico score, but the price is same so might as well get it from here since you can get a TU score as well, although the scores you want are the 2004 version of Fico and EQ here is fine, but TU is 98 for some stupid reason no one really knows? only Barclay goes by 98 scoring still.
Credit scoring is a such bs, if your judged on a score you should have a right to know your real scores that your being judged on.
