@wreith wrote:I got the 7-10 wait when I apped, kept checking the automated line, kept saying being processed. So I called the analyst number listed in the backdoor list, was told I had been denied, he reviewed it asked me a few questions and approved me for 800. I would call that number tomorrow and see how that goes. YMMV= Your Mileage May Vary.
what were your scores and situation when you apped for the freedom? if you dont mind me asking
i think you stand a good chance on recon.. thats how i got approved. i only got $600 but hey,at least im in. i had scores in the mid 600"s and alot, i meant ALOT of INQs on my EQ report(it was like 20inq) they pulled my Ex report on recon but the lady was really nice and reversed the decision. i was in the same boat as you with only 2 Cap1 cards with $300 limits and a kays card with $600. so yea i think you"ll get in on a Recon. Good luck
Good luck and keep us updated when you call the analyst number!

im not too worried about the limit right now, i dont mind paying several times a month but i think this last card will up my available credit and probably up my scores a bit so i can refinance my 16% auto loan. and to get my foot in the door

i will let you guys know how it goes im gonna them around 12.
Just an update.i was initially denied for the freedom called the recon line and the lady was pretty rud saying if she puts it up for recon its gonna say the same thing, so then i called the exec backdoor number and spoke with Lisa Colon who was very pleasant to talk to and she said it might be a hard pull i told her its fine since i already have a bunch of INQ's she called me back and asked about a collection that was paid the day i found out about it. she then went on to say it was a soft pull and im approved for a 1000CL. im pretty siked right now! Thanks alot you guys
That's not a bad approval at all, congrats Ty!
When you get your score from Chase (as you probably will) would you mind letting us know what specifically it was?

i will be glad to post my score when i get the card. im pretty sure there in the 650 range. CK said 701 last week and today 681, but i know CK is a reliable source. im really just glad to get a decent card cause i have is Cap1 platinum for bad\rebuilding credit and cap1 cash rewards for average.
