I don't believe you can cash in IHG points for either statement credits or a withdrawal.
I have the $49 annual fee card. You do get one free night in any ihg hotel, willing the hotel participates. Ihg says the free annual night equals to 40,000 points. They keep offering me to upgrade to the $99 annual fee card. I'll stick with my $49 fee card for the free night. I use it for a weekend getaway.
