I sent a secure message as well requesting a SP increase and mentioned this " You can request an increase of up to $1,000.00 without 
Chase obtaining a copy of your credit report provided that
the offer remains available. "

I sent a message requesting a $1000 increase but received the general message requesting details such as gross income and a disclosure stating that they will pull my credit report if I would like to proceed.

I didn't even bother responding.

But hopefully you'll have better luck and the CSR wasn't full of *you know what*.

I just sent a message requesting this as well on my Freedom. My account is about two months old and this $500 is killin' me. I'm not very hopefuly they'll incraese it this early but we shall see...
