Chase Sapphire Approved after reconsideration

Despite too many recent inquiries, I applied for Chase Sapphire last night and received the dreadful 30 message. Called the backdoor # this morning to discover my application has been denied.

I called again 5 minutes later for a recon  and spoke to a different CSR. After asking me some questions, she left me on a 4 minute hold then came back and told me my application has been approved for $5000.  Highest CL up to date!!

Congrats, what was your Fico at the time of the apped process? How many inquiries and what report did Chase pulled? This information will help out others when they app for this CC. Also, did you get the Chase Sapphire without AF or with?

Re: Chase Sapphire Approved after reconsideration

Thanks everyone! APR is at 13.24, which is pretty good IMO.

All I said was " is it possible to reconsider my application ? ". She asked a few questions about my employment, address and the usuals.

Yes, Chase pulls Equifax.

No, I don't have any other product from chase.

This is definitely a great card!

Re: Chase Sapphire Approved after reconsideration

Congrats! I was denied on my recon for a Chase Slate just now, was told I have too many cards carrying balances, after my initial denial letter stating I had too many new recent accounts and too many accounts with balances. Will try back again in 6 months.
