Stings quite a bit missing out on the 80K SUB and now this! 

Yeah got my CSP with a measly 60K at the beginning of this year!

As a current datapoint the referral links on my end are still showing the 80k signup bonus but I expect it to update fairly soon like when it went up from 60k -> 80k

When that happens I may just have my parents hit up this card and nab the referrals for it. Doubt it will get any better than this

No, Chase does not allow no more than one Sapphire product at any time

Kind of bummed my drunk self applied a few days ago. Didn't even go in branch to get the first AF waived. And now the increased SUB. Ouch.

See what they can do for you by calling or SM. I applied for my CFU right before the 5% cashback on groceries for a year offer, and I sent them a SM and they added it to my card. Obviously there are no guarantees, but worth a shot.

Can the AF still get waived, if submitting the application in branch?

The link below says that the branch offer might be avaialble at the middle of this month, not sure whether such long delay would be reasonable:
