I'm still new to the points game, and i'm still learning. So, i have a few questions.
I'm looking to add the CFU to my lineup in around 4-6 months, so i can maximize my point earning on non travel and dining expenses. My question is regarding the 3% offer for the first year on the CFU.
As we're all aware, I only earn 2x points on travel and dining with the CSP.
So, would i effectively sock drawer my CSP until i hit $20k spend and use the CFU for everything? Except of course the times where travel insurance, car insurance, etc were needed.
Am i thinking about this correctly? 3x cash back is 3x points per dollar spent, correct? Or would i still use my CSP for all travel and dining and just use the CFU for all other spend, like i originally intended.
Ok, that was easy.
I like carrying the metal CSP. But, it'll get sock drawered until $20k. Except for when needed.
Too bad you have to wait 13 months to upgrade to the CSR, i wish i could do it today.
