I received a Chase Slate card offer in the mail a few days ago. 0% intro APR until August 1, 2011 on purchases and balance transfers. When the intro period ends, the APR will go up to a variable APR of 11.99%. 3% balance transfer fee...no max cap. Is this a good credit card and offer?

Well the card is good and the offer is good too. But I think the rewards are not that interesting.
Now it really depends if you need to use the balance transfer for buy something expensive to use that 0% offer.
IMHO it is a good offer.
I think the Slate card is the one with the artwork sideways.
Also I think the Slate is a signature card- which has more benefits than a standard Visa or M/C.
I have a Freedom M/C that is not a signature card.
I'm surprised at the 3% BT fee. The recent offers I've seen from Chase are at 4%, or more (telephone option) for BT fees.
Sounds as if Chase likes you, bakalao2k!
Chase TURNED my ex WAMU/PROVIDIAN cards into
SLATE cards but I don't know if it's a good card or not.
My interest rate did not change and I haven't gotten a
CLI since WAMU gave me one. I don't use it much.
I'd like to know if this a good card myself.

IMO, thats a good offer. Chase extended me a balance transfer 0% for 6 months or 2.99% for 12 w/4% transfer fee on a 9.24% Slate card that I've had forever and a day. You got 3% transfer which is great. The 11.9 isn't bad if its for a new card.
I've always enjoyed my slate card.
