Chase Visa Signature no sign limit?

What is the limit where you have to sign for purchases?  I haven't had to sign for anything lately for around the town items.  It seemed like last year I had to sign for anything over $50, and now I don't have to sign even at ~$150.  What's the dealio?

 Ahh! very nice, about time they did something like this. Signing is silly these days.  Places in europe you can even just tap your phone to a checkout remote.
