I'll take a stab at 4 of them in order of difficulty from hardest to easiest:

Palladium Card ($30mil in assets with them gets you an invite)

Select Card (another high end offering)

Sapphire

Freedom

Any Visa Signature version will probably require a higher credit standard for approval than a regular Chase card.  I understand why you're asking, too...everything sort of blurs after the top two offerings.  Smiley Wink

Re: Chase cards in order of approval difficulty

How do people know which are easiest?  What is the source of this info?  Are you looking at results on whogavemecredit, comparing threads about approval criteria on this board or elsewhere, has the company made any statements about target markets for their cards, are you answering based on general impression?  I always wonder how these rankings are put together.

I'm not suggesting that the order given above is incorrect, I'm just generally interested in what the information is based on.

Starting Score: ~500 (12/01/2008)
Current Score: EQ 681 (04/05/13); TU 98 728 (01/06/12), TU 08? 760 (provided by Barclay 1/2/14), TU 04 728 (lender pull 01/12/12); EX 742 (lender pull 01/12/12)
Goal Score: 720

Re: Chase cards in order of approval difficulty

The cards listed are available to the general public at Chase.com.

1. Continental Presidential

2. Continental One Pass Plus

3. Chase Sapphire Preferred

4. Tied between Chase Sapphire & Chase Southwest

5. Freedom

6 ?

7 ?

8 ?

The Chase cards with the highest, best rewards are the toughest to get imho. But overall, Chase is a tough card to obtain in general but YMMV.
