Christian Community Credit Union (CCCU) - How long on an app?

Hello.

I joined CCCU on 8/31 and applied for a CC on 9/01.  They didn't pull my CR (experian) till 9/02.

The status shows pending.  I'm curious how long it generally takes until you get either request for info or a decision with this CU?

Thanks.

BTW:  I really like the FinanceWorks that CCCU offers.  It is a free online Quicken (intuit) application that pulls all of your checking & savings accounts, credit cards, loans, etc.  Then it tracks balances, transactions, etc.  It allows one to set up a budget, put in bills, see trends, etc.  Pretty nice and its free. I can see my total cash and debt positions in one place.  It can pull everything automatically, no manual entry or even downloads to import.

LOL.  Nope, don't have this one.  I do have checking & savings accounts with them.  But haven't applied for credit and won't, at least not in the next 18 to 24 months.

Did OP ever get a decision?

No I have not gotten any word yet.  The online status is still pending.  I'm starting to think that maybe they don't update the online status and I will get something in the mail next week.

The only thing I have received from them so far are uDeposit envelopes that I ordered.  I put $5200 in deposit with them.

I got card a little over a year ago.  they probably still do things manually so they take longer.  They called me first and you have to be patient with them.  On the other hand, they just gave me auto cli for 2500 after a year.

Hang in there for they are excellent.

I only had to sign religious statement.   No accounts.

PS:  I think it took a couple of weeks but like I said they're great and it's worth it.  I do believe they still call you personally

LOL.  I joined them earlier on.  But I didn't go for their card because it is over 10% APR and I wanted cards that were under 10% APR.  I now wish I had app'ed CCCU instead of PenFed (over 13%).

Anyway, I liked what CCCU stood for, what they did with profits and may consider some credit through them down the road.  I also found the Finance Works online app interesting.

ack to OP.  I suggest maybe you call them and inquire???  Unless you don't like to call on apps, then just wait to see what comes in the mail I guess.  Do let us know what the final disposition turns out to be.
