I opened this card as a AA AF card in 2015. Downgraded it about two years ago to the no-AF MileUp card. Been using it to round up to 50,000 miles recently.
They just sent an upgrade to WEMC, added contactless, and added my American AAdvantage number to the card. Same expiration date, same CVV number.
Congratulations on your upgrade! 👍

Congrats ..Citi always seems to keep the #'s and CVV the same ..unless you report it lost or stolen.
Citi wants their higher swipe fees

Yes, they do. They are also misled about my intentions with the card.
I am trying to get rid of it, but with the new partnership with Alaska, this one, as a 2 miles Grocery card where AMEX does not do Groceries, makes it possibly useful. Time will tell. I need to see how well the American --> Alaska bookings still hold up, since there was some turbulence recently in that relationship. I hate flying American, but like Alaska for certain routes.
