I've had some good luck these past few days. Just received the Citi AAdvantage card yesterday in the mail. Wasn't happy with 26% APR, so I chatted online with rep who referred me to call customer service. I did just that, and after being on hold for a few minutes. the CS rep was happy to inform me that my APR was reduced to 20% from 26%! Just 2% above lowest APR offered for the card. I know it's still on the high side, but unbelievable achievement on a brand new card!
