Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select APR reduction

After seeing several posts regarding APR reduction on this card, I thought I would give it a try.  I have had the card for almost 1 year with 1 SP cli.  I called the number on the back of the card, spoke to a very nice lady who said she to hold while see processed the request.  Within a matter of minutes, she responded with a reduction from 24.24% to 17.24%.  I generally PIF, but just in case, the call was worth my time.

Awesome!!!  I wonder if 1 year is an official internal qualifier for an APR reduction.

I do this via live chat on a regular basis. My current rate was just bumped from 14.59 to 15.59% when the rate hikes took place. But its still below their advertised APR. 

Wish Costco would do it but its one rate for everyone.
