Just be prepared to explain why you have hit the luv button so much. Explain why you need/want more credit. If you have a card with a higher line then say so and say that you like Citi but your current CL makes it hard for you to make them your number 1 card.
Goodluck!

Are you saying that everytime I sign on and hit the button, they know I hit the button? I really hit it every day lol

Re: Citi CLI

I hit the CLI link pretty frequently for my Sears MC out of morbid curiosity, but they've never sent me a letter. Probably don't dare to, or they're too embarrassed, lol.

Re: Citi CLI

I've had my current Citi Card since I graduated college in 2000.  In all that time I first asked for a CLI in December of 2007.  I went from $4300 to $5800.  In April I hit it again and went up to $7300.  This thread got me curious and I hit it again and they bumped me up to $9100.  In a couple of months maybe I can hit it again and get my first card (since the 90's) over 10k.  I transferred a balance of $7000 to it right after the last increase, 0% for 12 months, and wasn't sure if they'd take it higher.  Besides this thread, the other thing that made me curious was the checks they sent me in the mail.  Can't hardly use them without a CLI, right?  Up until this balance transfer, the card's been PIF, or only a few months with a carry, since the beginning.  I should have it paid off, or transferred again, by the time the 0% is up.
