Re: Citi Costco credit card

I think you either have to have a membership, or sign up for one as part of the application process.

Re: Citi Costco credit card

The first blank to fill in on the online application is your membership number.

I got mine by calling and PCing from AA Platinum. The Citi rep on the phone needed my membership number to process the PC.

Citi has very flexible PC rules (except for the fact that a Costco card cannot be PCed to anything else). I think it's good to take advantage of them by getting a big TY or AA SUB first and then PCing...if you can wait a year for the Citi Costco card.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

Re: Citi Costco credit card

ThankYou is a Citi points system, similar to Amex MR and Chase UR. You can get a SUB worth maybe $500 on Prestige and Premier last I checked. I got rid of my Prestige two years ago.

AA is American Airlines. SUBs of roughly 50,000 miles (roughly $500 in value) are common.

SUB is "sign-up bonus" (really "minimum spend bonus" but the term SUB is in more common use).
