@CreditCuriosity Sure, 800 950 5114. sounded the same when I called, but i mentioned chat referred me to call this number and speak with the Account Specialist Team.
FWIW this is the same number chat always refers me to call... for some reason chat can't do anything with my account.
On the other hand, I found the rep at the phone number fairly empowered... she was able to PC my Diamond Preferred to a Double Cash and get me a lower APR all in the same call.
She did have to put me on hold for the APR reduction, though, so I suspect she was having to get another CSR to actually handle that part.
Thanks bud.. That dept has alot more power than chat although was transferred to senior account specialist. I put 10k through card last year that is a decent amount considering i have 20+ cards lol and not my main non-cat card even that goes to penfed pcr.
Got the interest rate down by 5% and she encouraged me to call back in a month and get it lowered more. Seems like a retention dept sort of as well, but regardless made me a bit happier and will be calling next month and getting hopefully another drop in APR. Very helpful people vs. chat.
I would never carry a balance on this card, but with excellent credit is a pure principle thing to me. They also offered me a BT, but don't need one esp at a 3% fee where i have 0% options for that
Jumping on the band wagon here.
I chatted with a rep and was able to lower my (then) Double Cash down from 16.49% to 14.24%. About 2 months ago it was at 24.24%.
Also decided to convert my Double Cash to the Dividend Card. Wasn't being used so may as well get come category cash back when I can. Drug Stores this quarter sure will be nice
Glad to see that others are pulling the trigger on Citi APR reductions!
What is the Dividend card? I've never heard of it.

Did they do the apr change before or after? I see Dividend advertised down to 12.99 (Valpen)
I chatted with them before hand because it takes weeks for the card to "convert" and you accept the terms before they will entertain any lowering of your APR.
