Citi DC to Custom Cash product change

I know this has been addressed in here before but wanted to share my experience because it seems like the results have been one extreme or the other. I have been getting bombarded by Citi to switch my DC to Rewards+ which I had no desire to do. Figured I'd try for the card I wanted today, the Custom Cash. Spoke to someone who said that was the one card I couldn't convert to. She transferred me to someone else who said the same. She transferred me to a manager who had me switched over in just a few minutes. It is already showing my new card online. Same CC # and should have the new card in 10 days. Be persistent! haha
