my paypal credit line stopped working about a year ago, and they are unable to remove my closed BofA checking account.
I am just gonna use my dc, qs, fid visa, not gonna try to confuse my PP more than it can handle.

PenFed would require me to park $500 in their checking to get 2% back and not be subject to their $10 account inactivity fee and that’s also after the stars align perfectly for the people who do the UW to decide to approve the card in the first place. Again, Sync won’t be as much of a hassle.
Yeah, I had a Penfed PCR, they gave me a whopping $1500 SL, and never a quarterly pre-qual CLI offer, and I don't take HPs for a CLI. Synch gave me a $7k SL on PP MC, and it's now $10k from auto CLIs. So I closed my Penfed checking & PCR, not worth it. I do still have the Share Savings and HELOC with Penfed, but I'll pass on their CCs.

The PayPal’s flat 2% cash back with no minimum redemption or half now, half later gimmicks is a huge advantage over the Citi DC with its minimum $25 redemption.
- Yeah, that half now half later plus the minimum $25 redemption would make me prefer PayPal MC over Citi. But Citi was included in my 2010 BK7 so it's a no go anyway.

Is that the "instant transfer" service PP pushes by using debit cards and has a 25 cent fee? There's a faster and free way with Google Pay. You need two Google gmail accounts. I load the first Google Pay account with my PayPay debit card and load the second Google account with the debit card of the account I want the $$$ to go to. Send the money from the first account and it's in the bank account of the 2nd Google account in a minute or two. I occiasionally sell on eBay so that's a fast way to move those proceeds to my bank account as well. No fees as the credit Google gets from the receiving debit card cancels out the debit fee from the first card.

Nice tip. I'm gonna try that.

I don't like the term "loophole" 🙄 I consider it an optional add-on.
The focus is Cash Rewards. 3% today is better than 1% today + 1% some other day - with conditions 🤔
Game over.
To be fair there are sort-of conditions on the PP as well! If you don't have $100 in signature debit card usage in the month, you lose the debit card reward for that month. Now that's a low threshold and the most you lose is 99c, but with DC you don't lose rewards (or with any other CC that I am aware of)

@Anonymous @Anonymous! I wasn't aware of that, since I generally meet this requirement. However, I see no mention of this in Section 7 of the Cardholder Agreement. Am I missing something?

7c: Payouts must be at least $1.00 USD per month for the amount to be added to your PayPal balance. Otherwise, $0.00 USD will be added to your PayPal balance for that previous month.
