I keep getting offers from Citi about this card and I am thinking I don't want or need it, but would put it out there to see if anyone had it and what your thoughts are about the card? Thanks to anyone who responds.
I enjoy mine. It had a $1k limit until recently was able to CLI to $1.5k
The Citi EasyDeals points are going away soon, to be replaced by some similar coupon method. For the merchants involved, there are some nice discounts.
I also have gotten several nice "spend up to $500 get 5% back offers over the years. Online Purchases was the most recent I cleaned up with. Others gas, groceries, or dining, entertainment. Working on a little 0% APR on purchases through June, those have come up from time to time, usually able to stack them with the 5% offers. They also sent me offers to PC to Double Cash, though I did not think that was as good a deal as EasyDeals, for me.
Plus it has a diamond on it. Snazzy!
I only got it at the time for virtual account numbers so I didn't have to give out my real card number to merchants - other than that it was useless to me, so I PC'ed to the Double Cash and use that a billion times more.
I'm using mine to take advantage of the 21 months 0%; but after that's over I'll probably PC it to a DC unless they give me a compelling reason not to.
In my case I have until March 2018 to consider it, and of course a lot can happen between now and then.
Thanks for all your comments, everyone! I am getting a perspective now.
I'd only get it if you need to do a BT or carry at 0% for a while.
Little deals here and there may be good, but if you add up the marginal value of them over what your other cards might offer, I suspect it would take a while to make up for the fact that there is no bonus.

Me too. Used it for the great intro rate and just recently PC'd to a DC. Just waiting on the new card.
Okay, I really am getting perspective that will help me make my decision. I already have the Double Cash card. I don't need the zero financing. Soooo, I will not be applying for the card. Thanks again for all the input. I love this forum!
