I currently have a Citi Diamond Preferred that I would likely want to change to either a Thank You Preferred, or a Dividend (5% catagories).
2% dining and entertainment on TYP, and subpar catagories on Dividend, so I've been reading.
I have also seen some people PC to a co branded card (eg AAdvantage, or Hilton Honors). Travel rewards are kind of important to me, but I don't want to be stuck with one airline or hotel when i do travel.
Any auggestions?
The Dividend is offering 5% at drug stores this quarter. Not a bad category.

would you take TYP or Dividend?
I'm also not a big fan of the Dividend categories, so I'd most likely go with the TYP if forced to choose between the 2. I'd only use it for entertainment (TYP) and dining (TYP or Amazon). I'd redeem for student loans checks to get the best return from the points (another option is gift cards but only ones that redeem at $25 for 2500 points). Your Quicksilver or Green would be better for general spend.
