I tried to do it through chat (Diamond Preferred => Prestige) and I was told I had to call in.

I think I'm making that same request next month.  So this is either a YMMV situation, or maybe since she was getting constant weekly postcards from Citi to get her to switch, there was already an offer our chat agent could see?

It is possible to request a PC to Prestige via the Citi app, but your mobile device must be equipped with a Bluetooth-linked breathalyzer.

They always tell me to call in as well so when I got a survey about my last experience, I wrote that it was useless because I end up having to call in anyway.
