They don't necessarily bucket like Capital One, for instance. However, like most other lenders, there are product segmentation tranches that are 'pegged' to an overall profile/product - think product codes.
That being said, a $500 CLI is a step in the right direction - depending on where you are in your rebuild. Some individuals' cards grow faster than others, but at least yours won't be stuck forever (hopefully). If you try the SP CLI approach, and exercise a bit of patience, you'll definitely see it grow.
