So I finally gave in to the pre-approved mailing that I've been getting from Citi about the ThankYou Preferred and I applied.
I got the 7-10 day message with a phone number to call for instant decision. I called immediately and was told that I was approved for a CL of $2,000 with 11.99% APR and the reason I was asked to call was so they could offer to move upto $2,500 of my current $12,000 CL on my Forward card to my new ThankYou card.
So I moved $1,500 from the Forward to the ThankYou, so $3,500 CL on ThankYou and $10,500 CL on Forward.
Not ideal but this is now my lowest APR card. I just hope they pulled EQ instead of EX like they normally do for me.
