Citi ThankYou® Premier Card

Hi guys, is the Citi ThankYou Premier Card a Visa Signature card or a Mastercard? Are you able to switch it up from Visa Signature to MC incase you get the Visa Signature version?

I got the world MC before I did the conversion.

I would ask them.

I just went through the application and it appears it's Visa only.

I also noticed the following under the disclosures:

@armbenderc, is the World MC version the one with the silver MC logo as well?

Do you get the Chip for the MC version?

Not silver, it's just said MasterCard with 'World' on top. Yes it has the chip. Sure you want the $125 AF card?

I've been comparing it with the CSP, the nice thing about it is that it has the chip technology in it for abroad travels.

I love my CSP, but no chip yet. I think they is a post floating somewhere that they are testing it since CSP is metal card.

Ah that's good to hear! Because the last thing I want is a card that is optimized for international travels but that doesn't have a chip, having a chip will help avoiding those embarassing declined card moments.

The CITI TY Premier is a nice card, but for the AF just make sure you use all the benefits out of it
