Just for kicks I went to Cities pre-qual site to see what I could get. I was pre-qualified for 5 cards, including the double cash back card. However, all of the interest rates were top of the line. Sorry Citi, I don't want a card with 22.99% even if I do PIF each month. You would think with my scores they could do better than that. Is everyone getting 22.99% on this card when approved?

Some are getting 12.99%, but at least the initial impression (for some!) was that APRs are higher and CLs are lower than might be expected from the scores.

That stinks! big time with those beauty of scores you're sitting on. I would pass in a flash too. Incredible!
I have a question on the design of this card for those that have it. Does it have a blue colored frame? When I say frame, for example, Discover's is orange, and the Chase Freedom is Green. I never noticed this until I looked at a sideways rendering of the card on Citi's website.
If it does, then I think it even enhances the already nice design of the card, because I like the colored frames.

Just took mine out to check...and yes, the edge of the Double Cash IS blue! I also like the colored "frames," as you call them, since they can help distinguish cards when stacked.

Not everyone is getting that APR, but I got that APR and an anemic $1200 CL. I'm also refusing to take an HP just to get a better CL. The CL is the same as my lowest major CC (Merrick) and my APR is worse than all of my other major CCs (excluding Merrick) and even some of my store cards! Overalll, I'm not really won over by my Double Cash just yet.
I was approved for the TYP last month with an APR of 21.99% or 22.99% and $3800 line. Used once. Approved for DC 2 weeks ago, 12.99% and $4900 line. Makes no sense.
When I applied on 9/9/14, my fico was about 760ish accross the board. I was provided with a 9500 CL and my APR is 17.990. So it's odd how some were provided with a better APR, but a lower CL. What is the logic behind this? The APR is not a factor for me since I always pay off before statement cut, but I wish they would also add 5% cat.

Congratulations on your new TLs.
