I've done some searching and have a good understanding of Citi's memory.
My question is: Does anyone have any DPs on getting back in with Citi?
I burned them for about 1,400 in 2016. They sent the account to collections and in my talks with them in the past about getting that removed, the EO expressed they have no record of my old account.
Im not looking to apply for anything with Citi in the near future due to 5/24 but im just looking to see if anyone was able to get back in with Citi after a burn?
Did you ever pay them back either in full or the amount agreed to in a settlement for less than the entire debt owed, or is it still to your knowledge an unpaid debt?

It's unpaid.
Hello. Several years ago I got two Citi balance transfer cards and transferred some debt. Then, due to some issues with job loss, my debt still got out of control and I went into a debt hardship program whereby I was assigned a lawyer who negotiated with my creditors for paying back less than full. This worked wonderfully. At the time this was happening, I was advised not to monitor my credit scores as they would plummet, and that could be distressing. I completed the program, and began monitoring my credit reports again to clear up any errors. Citi was the only one whose accounts no longer showed on my credit reports. I'm not sure if they agreed to a pay-for-delete, as this wasn't mentioned by my lawyer.
As I was rebuilding, I wasn't sure which credit card companies to go to. I began rebuilding with Capital One, Merrick, and got back with American Epress. Then, late last year, I got a pre-approval from Citi. I accepted, and was given a nice credit limti. When I created my login, my old accounts did not show up, and Citi seems to have no memory of them, unlike Chase, Discover, Capital One, and American Express. I've been doing great with Citi. They even gave me a CLI at the six-month mark, I have been really impressed with Citi, and hope to grow my relationship with them.
Hope this helps.
Citi was included in my chapter 7 in 2014, but with a zero balance. They approved me for a credit card in October 2023. Hope this helps!
This may have been just a freudian slip on your part, not sure. But 5/24 has nothing to do with Citi. That's a Chase rule.
Citi's typical rules are:
1/6 New accounts
2/12 Inquiries across all bureaus
2/65 Citi-specific apps/cards

No I know what it means. I'm currently at 4/24 and don't want to use my last spot for a Citi card just yet.
I burnt them for 2 cards at about 18K in Chapter13 in 2013 and they were already in collection.
Applied for the BestBuy card in Nov 2021 and was approved for 20K but denied for the Custom Cash shortly after.
Got a Pre-Selected letter last week so decided to try again and was approved for $10.5K
