You need good credit when applying for this card? You can however apply for a Delta Skymiles and try and covert it to Clear or even better a Blue.

I just got the Clear card from American Express about 3 weeks ago and they pulled EX. My FICO EX score at the time was 656.

i went to the credit card part of this site and it had ax card listed under fair credit.

approved for Clear 2 weeks ago...they checked EX - Fico 698

I find the CC part of this site as accurate as the score simulator!

Yeah but that pull will hurt if the site is wrong.

You could call or go to www.whogavemecredit.com and plug in your score.  I've seen Amex issue cards with lower scores.  Anytime you apply, you take the chance of being denied and its not always score-based.
