Well....Yes, I think you made a big mistake.
What happens if you ever travel away from home and you lose your credit card or it is declined for some reason? You will have to stop whatever you are doing and get the card turned back on no matter what it takes.
It happened to me on vacation. Lost my BoA card. (I think that I dropped it in a restaurant.) I just called BoA, told them I lost it and switched to another card. My new BoA card showed up in the mail a day after I returned from vacation. Easy for me. You have a ruined vacation.

Sallie Mae, DoubleCash mostly for the rewards.
Maybe shoot them a SM about lowering your APR while you're at it.
