Hi- I am 10 months post CH7 BK Discharge.
I have three credit cards, two are secured ($4k and $1k with USAA) and I have a $300 unsecured with C1.
I feel like I should just close the $300 unsecured. It's useless. I don't think it will harm my score if I do as it is only a 6 month old card and I just started rebuilding in Jan.
Thoughts?
If your in the credit steps you should see a CLI at the seventh statement. I would at least wait until then you may be surprised.

CapOne might increase it to $1000 or more in your 7th month and let you do a product change..
It was a slow roll (about 20 months total) but my original $300 Cap1 got up to $2000 before I PC'd it a few months back to a QS and got a CLI at the same time to the current amount. Close it if that doesn't meet your needs. Keep it open if you don't mind tending it awhile. I would.
Cap One usually doesn't even consider CLIs before 6 months. So if you're in Credit Steps, just wait. If not, hit the LUV button. If that doesn't work, contact the EO. I think it's a bit early to walk away.
And my $300 card is now a $4000 one, so they definitely can grow.

I agree ... my $300 Plat is now a $10,000 QS
Don't close that. My Chase Freedom started at $500 afer I recon'ed a denial, and stayed that way for an year. Now after two years it went to $5k and was able to move some of that to a Chase Sapphire.
10 months post BK and scores in the 61X's. You need to worry about building positive history. The limit is irrelevant. The fact you got an unsecured card that quickly is a good thing. Cap1's business is tailor made for people in your situation.
