Is it better to closed you CC or let it closed by the creditor for inactivity?

Re: Closing?

I don't think it matters as long as it doesn't have a balance. I had a CC get closed bc I moved and forgot to update my address and they couldn't get in contact with me so they shut down the card. And I've closed cards on my own. I didn't see an damage from either. The important thing is that it has a $0 balance. But if you don't want it anymore, just close it. No use waiting.
