I have a question, guys.

How do you see your preapproved credit limit? I get the popup, but I don't want to fill in my ssn, etc.

Cards: CSP 6k, Chase Freedom 6k, BCP 7.5k, Sallie Mae 8.9k, Discover 5k, BOFA Better Rewards 3.8k

Only some of the shopping cart trick cards actually show the limit when the pop up happens...Victoria Secret & Buckle are the only ones i can think of of the top of my head...

In my case, JCrew showed a limit of $300 right way, Express didn't. so only a few shows up right away.

Does the cart trick work for Torrid?

I don't recall seeing a Torrid thread, but it's a Comenity card, so it's probably worth a try (out of sheer curiousity, I tried, but got nothing).

Re: Comenity Bank / WFNNB -- Approved for all the "cart trick" websites. Are chances good

I was pre-approved in an actual Torrid store on 9/18. She only took the last 4 of my social and my ID. Bingo. $250 CL, which I'm hoping will grow over time. Funny thing is, I applied online for a Torrid credit card on 8/29 and received the 7-10 day message, got the denial letter, called to recon, was told to wait 30 days and apply again. So, it was really strange that less than 30 days later I was pre-approved in-store.
I applied for the Lane Bryant card the same day I was approved for Torrid and got the 7-10 day message, but I'm wondering if they'll give it to me bc they gave me a Torrid card. I'll have to wait and see.
