I am sorry to ask, but how were they impolite to you?  Was it because they said no to your request, or were they just mean from the start?  I only ask because I have never had an impolite customer service experience from any of my calls into credit card companies (probably have called 500 times in all to several companies).  I always have called them "sir" or "ma'am" and I thank them for their help.


Please do not take it as me picking on you, but I am just curious.  I have read on here at least 100 times about people having very rude experiences.  I just wonder why any representative would become hostile if they are treated with respect and courtesy.

I wonder the same thing.  I would think it exceptionally rare a CSR would go off the deep end unless they had some emotional issue or the customer was a complete jerk.  Not that there should be any excuse, mind you.
