Costco AMEX

Does anyone know anything about The True Earnings Consumer AMEX card through Costco? If so, is it hard to get? Thanks!

I was denied-

They pull all 3 CRA's
CL is based on previous Costco spending

If you qualified for one of the Mid Amex cards you should qualify.

how do they know how much you spend at costco? what if you pay cash everytime?

They know by accessing your costco membership card records that you give out to cashier everytime you shop. Remember?

makes since, buy at sam's frequently. been to costco a couple of time, but never bought anything.

btw what kind of scores to get in? i'm curious too.

Required to keep Costco membership is one stipulation.

Found about five people that have applied for the card in the past year and a half.  Three with fico scores in the high 5's to mid 6's.  All three declined.  Two with scores in the high 6's to mid 7's.  CLs for those two started at 2,500/APR 13.49 and went to  5,000/APR 16%.

610 on EX is the lowest approval score I've seen.

Can any AMEX be used instead of a costco membership card?  I mean, can I show my Amex and get into costco?  I know that's the only CC they take.

You don't need an AMEX at all to get a Costco membership.

You can use Debit at Costco, which is what we used before AMEX.
