After about 18 months of rebuilding and yearning for prime land, I finally got a "pre-screened" letter from Chase saying I'm invited to apply got for the Freedom. Could this actually be a legit offer? My credit isn't that great yet, last alert stated 647 EQ Fico and 659 Ex fako. My current util is at about 25% which will be paiby down by the end of the month. Profile summary in My signature. Could I actually be approved with them?!
thanks!
maybe but i wouldnt expect a good limit. I got a pre screened offer from wells fargo and was denied.
if it has the opt out notice on it that's a good sign

At the bottom of the page is says You can choose to stop receiving "prescreened" offers blah blah blah. is that what you mean?
I've seen approvals on here recently for a 3500 credit line from a forum member who had a 640 creditkarma score... this is not really a good reliable indication of whether you will be approved. Honestly though, I think its a good sign, and Chase is very recon friendly. I would go for it if you had less than 3 inquiries or less on your TU, EQ, and EX reports in the last 1 year.
Ok. I have 6 in the last year, 3 in the last 6 months. Any idea which CRA they pull in California?
