Crazy BarclayCard PC

I have just got approved for several BarclayCards, so I told my wife to call them and ask for a PC from her Frontier Card.

She has had the card for about 5 years, and has a balance of $2000, her CL is $7000, plus her APR is 24.99%.

So, anyway, I told her to call for a PC, and here is what they came back with:

12 months 0% BT from Frontier to Rewards.

Reduction in APR to 13.99%

10,000 instant reward points

Transfer Frontier AirMiles *10 (20,000 points)

I was shocked, her TU is only 650.

And if anyone is interested, Everything was a SP.

We figured a way around the system LOL. Call Tech Support and ask for a Password Reset. They will do an SP to verify identity, then at the end of the call, ask to be transferred to a CA.

The case number transfers with you. No HP.

Technique Worked for me.

PC from Apple Financing Visa -> Rewards Card

CL: 1850 -> 3850

Only got 1k rewards points, but its in a program that I will actually use.

All depends on who you talk to I guess. I was told by 3 different reps last week a PC isn't possible... Then a 4th rep said maybe later?
